K\u00f6tschach and the authentic Mauthen are two authentic Austrian villages, close to the Mediterranean Italy. Together they accommodate 3000 inhabitants. They provide many facilities and activities. K\u00f6tschach-Mauthen is located between two mountain ranges and right next to the Italian border. The village is located at the end of the Gailtal and at the beginning of the Lesachtal. The roads and hiking trails in the village are flat, there are many alpine meadows and a wooded area. The village is ideal for cycling and walking, also for children and people who are less mobile.<\/p>

In the adjacent Mauthen you will find the natural swimming pool, the climbing park and the Mauthner Klamm, where you can hike adventurously between the mountains and along the water. The hiking area high in the mountains is also easily accessible, as is the Geotrail, where you can discover the origin of the Alps yourself.<\/p>

K\u00f6tschach-Mauthen is known \u00a0for its very clean air and is therefore also called an air spa. There is a lot of sunshine all year round, making the temperature ideal in both summer and winter.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
