The Pressegger See is a family friendly destination. The water of the Pressegger See has a nice temperature up to 28 degrees. You will find several beaches around the Pressegger See where you can relax in summer. Of course, in addition to relaxing on the beach and swimming in the lake, you can also rent a supboard or canoe. Also nice: take part in a surf lesson! One sight you should definitely not miss out on at Pressegger See: Kärtner Erlebnispark. This adventure park is one big playground with several attractions.

Outdoor swimming pool

The open-air swimming pool Aquarena with wellness center is situated 250 meters from the chalet. The pool has indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, slide and sauna.

Mauthner Klamm

Visit the Mauthner Klamm for a challenging tour. This is a gorge in Kötschach-Mauthen, 5 minutes from Luxury Chalet Mauthner Alm. There are several rope bridges, rocks and tunnels to explore. The path partly runs through (knee deep) water. A fun adventure!

Mountainworld Nassfeld

Near Kötschach-Mauthen you will find the mountain world Nassfeld, on the border with Italy. In the summer you can use 3 lifts, each one brings you to a different area. At the mountain stations you will find several hiking trails, cycle paths, mountain huts and playgrounds for the children. In this versatile nature reserve you will find many more fun activities, such as a summer toboggan run and a climbing park with cable car and many beautiful viewpoints. Next to the Millennium Express, you can also use the Gartnerkofel and Madritschenlift.

Waldbad Mauthen

Enjoy swimming in the large natural swimming pool with mountain spring water. The swimming pool is quietly located and is a real Eldorado for nature lovers. The only sound you will hear is from the mountain water flowing through the adjacent stream. A large playground and café-restaurant complete the picture.
